Itinerary

Day 1 Brisbane - Noosa Heads (approx 90 miles)
Collect you car and join the Bruce Highway and commence your drive to Noosa Heads.  At the town of Caloundra turn off to Noosa Heads travelling through the towns of Maroochydore, Coolum Beach and Sunshine Beach. Overnight at The Noosa Blue Resort.

Day 2 Noosa – HerveyBay (approx 117 miles)
Departing Noosa today travel to Cooroy where you turn right onto the Bruce Highway to Gympie.  Continue through Gympie to Maryborough where you leave the highway and head to Hervey Bay. 2 nights at The Kondari Resort
 
Day 3 HerveyBay
Full day at your leisure in Hervey Bay to explore the area or alternatively you may wish to take a full day tour to Fraser Island. This can be pre booked, please ask for details.

Day 4 HerveyBay - Rockhampton (approx 245 miles)
Depart Hervey Bay and travel to Torbanlea where you turn right onto the Bruce Highway.  Continue through the towns of Childers, Gin Gin,  Miriam Vale and Calliope to Rockhampton. overnight at the The Travelodge Rockhampton. 

Day 5 Rockhampton - Mackay (approx 206 miles)
Depart Rockhampton via the towns of Marlborough and Sarina to Mackay. overnight at the Clarion Hotel Mackay Marina.
 
Day 6 Mackay - Airlie Beach  (approx 94 miles)
Depart Mackay via the Bruce Highway to Proserpine where you depart the highway and head towards Airlie Beach. 2 nights at the Coral Sea Resort.

Day 7 AirlieBeach
Full day at leisure in Airlie Beach to explore the area or you may wish to take a full day tour of the Whitsunday Islands

Day 8 AirlieBeach - Townsville (approx 185 miles)
Depart Airlie Beach travelling back to Proserpine where you rejoin the Bruce Highway and travel through the towns of Bower and Ayr to reach Townsville. Overnight at the Jupiters Hotel Townsville. 

Day 9 Townsville - Cairns (approx 206 miles)
Depart Townsville today via the Bruce Highway and head towards Cairns via the towns of Ingham, Mission Beach and Innisfail.  4 nights at The Lakes Resort Cairns.
