Itinerary
Day 1:
Depart Darwin between 0630 and 0700 and travel south to Litchfield National Park. View termite mounds and the magnificent falls of Tolmer, Wangi and Florence, and Buley Rockhole. Enjoy a swim at one of the falls. Continue to Katherine and your accommodation. (L)
Day 2:
Depart Katherine for a memorable visit to Elsey National Park for a swim in the thermal pool, lunch at Territory Manor and see the barramundi fish feeding show. Complete the day with a two hour cruise through the Katherine Gorge. (L)
Day 3:
Depart Katherine at 0700 for a two day visit to Kakadu National Park entering from the southern end through Mary River. A lunch stop with time for a swim is made at Gunlom Falls followed by a two hour sunset wildlife cruise on Yellow Waters. Return to your accommodation. (L)
Day 4:
An early start takes you to Nourlangie Rock, famed for its Aboriginal rock art and spectacular views. Next visit Ubirr Aboriginal art site and the Bowali Visitors Centre. After a picnic lunch return to Darwin, arriving at approximately 1700 hours. (L)
