From the greens of the island's national park, to the blues of the surrounding Whitsunday waters, Brampton Island is a fun, tropical Whitsunday Island. The Island is almost entirely covered with national park as well as seven golden sandy beaches and its own coral reef.

Access & Location:
Brampton Island is located 40 kilometres north east of Mackay.

Arrive at Brampton Island by coach/launch transfer from Mackay Airport (1.15 hours), jet transfer from Mackay Airport and Hamilton Island. Courtesy coaches depart the Airport at 1100 to connect with the 1130 launch departing Mackay Marina. Return launch transfer departs Brampton Island at 1315 arriving at Mackay Marina at 1500. (Does not operate Christmas Day).

Direct flights depart Mackay Airport and Hamilton Island with Qantas, Jetstar and Virgin Blue daily.

Baggage Allowance: Passengers on Australasian Jet transfers to Brampton Island are restricted to one suitcase (maximum weight - 20kg).

25 Palm Rooms, 54 Island View Rooms, 21 Ocean View Rooms, 6 Premium Ocean View Rooms. (Air-conditioned). Private facilities, tea/coffee making facilities, television, mini-bar (Premium and Ocean View rooms only) and telephone. No room service.
